Situated in that corner of Gloucestershire which nestles into Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, The Swan at Southrop is easily reached from Oxford, Swindon or Cheltenham. Southrop is just to the west of the A361 as it runs north from Lechlade up to the Burford roundabout on the A40 (Oxford to Cheltenham road).
