Royal Wedding Street Party

Friday 29th April 2011 - The Wedding of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton

To mark the Royal Wedding, we hosted a village street party. The road around the village green was closed and tables and chairs set up in the road. Around 200 villagers and many of our customers from further afield came to join the party.

The party started with champagne and bacon butties while watching the wedding. This was followed by live jazz music, children’s games, BBQ, bouncy castle and a bar in the village bus stop. The party ended with scones and jam and our Royal Wedding Champagne Raffle.
