We pride ourselves on the provenance of our food and we work with producers from the locality. We highlight seasonal ingredients from the surrounding area, such as crayfish from the old gravel pits in Lechlade, lamb from Macaroni Farm, partridge from the Hatherop estate, pork from Kelmscott and not forgetting eggs from our chickens, quail and geese reared at Thyme. In addition Joff and Peter, our gardeners, supply the pub with vegetables and salad from The Manor's kitchen garden.
We believe our menus offer something for everyone but if you have any particular dietary requirements please contact us or mention it to a member of staff and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
We are open for meals every day except Sunday evening. For Sunday lunch we offer our A La Carte menu plus a choice of two Sunday roasts.
The private dining room and skittle alley at The Swan with its glistening chandeliers and beamed ceiling, is hugely popular for parties, wine tastings, shooting lunches, birthdays and all types of private events. It seats up to 26 people and can accommodate 50 people for a cocktail party.
