Sunday lunch at the Swan, roast beef, potatoes and yorkshire pudding, perfect atmosphere, incredible food, welcoming staff, log fire with a nice cold drink, what else is there to do on a sunday? Sundays just got exciting.

Last weekend I ate twice at this beacon of excellence. Recommended by my B&B host, it was a revelation. Sebastian and Lana have created one of the loveliest, most honest, delicious and welcoming restaurants in all England. Quite the best steak, kidney and mushroom pie, best roast pork and crackling and best fruit crumble I have eaten - ever! The staff were young and brilliant and couldn't do enough. Many congratulations to this little piece of country heaven.

We have just returned home to Saint Lucia after a month staying in Southrop Village. Thank you to everyone at The Swan we felt like part of the village. Already missing your fantastic food. Had an amazing meal at the Swan on Friday evening,we ate at 2 other resturants in the Cotswolds during our stay and this was by far the best.The ambience and service were very good and the food was outstanding.

Just a quick note to thank you so much for your brilliant efforts on Saturday night. Please pass on my thanks to all your staff involved .. They received huge praise from all my guests, especially the wine waitress who was brilliant at keeping glasses filled and checking that all was fine.
All guests complimented the excellent food (and the menu) and I feel you may have some return visits to your restaurant in the near future.
I loved the feel of the room for this type of party and the table was great.

Cold, crisp winter's day- roaring fires, mulled wine and fabulous food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And all in such a beautiful location ! Richly deserved award, we'll definitely be back soon.
